December 2019 Prayer Letter

  • Please Pray for God to Give an Increase: We have been spending a lot of time recently trying to meet new people to make contacts for starting our future church plant in May. We need God’s help with this. We are praying we could meet new people that are interested in learning more about the Bible, be able to share the Gospel with them, that they would get saved, and that we could start discipling them. We have a lot of sowing to do and ask you that you would pray for God to help us and give an increase.
  • Please Pray for Mr. Gold to Grow in the Lord: Mr. Gold (known as Mr. Ming in last month’s prayer letter) is a young man I mentioned had been studying the Bible with me for a while and recently trusted Christ as his Savior. I have continuing studying the Bible with him and he has been growing in his faith. This month, we had a baptism service for him and he followed the Lord in believer’s baptism. Praise the Lord! I am excited about him making this step of obedience. Also, Nancy invited a lost friend to come to the baptism service. Her friend came and got to hear the Gospel clearly presented. Please be praying for this young lady’s salvation as well Mr. Gold’s continued growth in the Lord.
  • Please Pray for God to Work in Hearts: We invited some friends over to our house for a Thanksgiving outreach. They all got to hear the Gospel and we are praying that would come to know Christ as their Savior. Please be praying for these friends’ salvation!
  • Please Pray for our Visa Renewals: We will be trying to renew our visas this month. Please pray that we could get these approved to cover us for all of next year. We are asking God to help us to be able to renew without any problems.
  • Praise the Lord for His Wonderful Gifts: I just want to take a moment to praise the Lord for His many blessings. Praise Him for the gift of Salvation. Praise Him for taking care of us and providing for our needs. Praise Him for helping us when we are weak. God is so good! Every day we get to celebrate God coming to earth to save us all from our sins. What a wonderful God we serve. Merry Christmas from Jinan China!  -Kanon & Nancy Bloom
